  • Silicone on palm and fingers improves oar grip, even while wet
  • Lightweight palm material is thin, breathable, and quick drying
  • Durable, flexible elastic provides snug fit through fingers
  • Velcro wrist closure allows for secure and adjustable fit
  • Approved for all national, international and Olympic competitions; Popular in elite regattas around the world
  • Allows calluses to develop while preventing painful blisters; Focus on your technique, not your pain
  • Sizing

Please note: Our newest models of Scullers and Sweeps have a stronger elastic material on the finger straps than ever before. They may feel tight at first, but will relax slightly in as little as ten minutes of rowing. Before trying them on, we recommend tugging a few times on each elastic finger strap to ensure a comfortable fit for your first row.

    Unisex Size Palm Circumference
    X-Small < 18 cm
    Small 18 - 19.5 cm
    Medium 19.5 - 21 cm
    Large 21 - 22.5 cm
    X-Large 22.5 - 24 cm
    XX-Large 24 cm +

Measure the circumference of your palm at the widest point with your fingers outstretched.

If you're on the border between two sizes and your fingers or wrists are thick, go with the larger size.

    Watch our sizing video below:

  • Materials & Care
    • Glove Palm: 80% Polyester, 20% Polyurethane
    • Grip: Silicone
    • Fingers and Thumb: Elastic
    • Thumb and Trim: 80% Nylon, 20% Elastane
    • Wrist Closure: Velcro, Bonded Nylon, Elastane

Care instructions can be found on the label: Machine wash cold water, lay flat to dry.

Velcro wrist straps should always be closed/secured when gloves are not in use or being washed to prevent warping, bending, and/or collection of debris.

When machine washing the gloves, we recommend putting them in a delicates bag to further extend their longevity.

Saving my palms

Just received my 2nd and 3rd pairs of sculler’s gloves. My current pair is still getting the job done in saving me pain and blisters on my palms. Lite and open back help with feeling hot to keep on. Excellent solution if you are trying to avoid blisters.

Saved the Day!

We ordered at the very last possible moment, a pair of sculling gloves for a head race. The gloves did exactly what they were supposed to do: limited the development of blisters and prevented the slippery grip that sweat and backsplash create in the last few thousands meters. A big shout out to Paige who answered my email almost immediately in order to arrange a last minute delivery! We are convinced it was the gloves that helped us medal. Thank you!

Sculling gloves work really well! They are not bulky at all, allowing full control of your grip.. they were a bit tight when first purchased, but stretched out a bit after use.

Calluses begone

I’m a home rower and my hands developed calluses, which ended up feeling sensitive and caused me to have to change my grip frequently. I decided to try gloves, went for these and they’re super, I’ve only had them for a few weeks and already my hands feel more comfortable and the calluses are on their way out, success!

Finally! A glove made for rowers that actually work!

No matter how loose my grip, no matter how hard I worked at hand position, I always seem to get worse blisters than my teammates. It’s always put a damper on my rowing experience. I’m too old to put up with that any more. In preparation for the Chicago River half marathon this fall I was putting in a lot of meters in the heat and humidity and my hands were torn up. I didn’t want my hands to be my limiting factor for the race. In desperation I searched for rowing gloves and found these. I ordered a pair of the scullers, they fit as expected, and I took them for a test row. The next day I raced for 21km and had a great race with no new blisters. Amazing! Thank you.

Most of our club members wear them!

These gloves are a key component of any good row. They really help with grip and protecting from blisters.

Need Half sizes

I have a pair of medium that stretched so I bought smalls and they are too small. Half sizes would be a great addition!

Great sculling gloves!

This is my fourth pair of Crew Stop gloves. They prevent blisters, but more importantly, they help me keep my grip in the rain or when it’s really hot out. I don’t see any disadvantages to using them. I easily wash them by hand after each use.
