  • Sizing

Please note: Our newest models of Scullers and Sweeps have a stronger elastic material on the finger straps than ever before. They may feel tight at first, but will relax slightly in as little as ten minutes of rowing. Before trying them on, we recommend tugging a few times on each elastic finger strap to ensure a comfortable fit for your first row.

    Unisex Size Palm Circumference
    X-Small < 18 cm
    Small 18 - 19.5 cm
    Medium 19.5 - 21 cm
    Large 21 - 22.5 cm
    X-Large 22.5 - 24 cm
    XX-Large 24 cm +

Measure the circumference of your palm at the widest point with your fingers outstretched.

If you're on the border between two sizes and your fingers or wrists are thick, go with the larger size.

    Watch our sizing video below:

  • Materials & Care
    • Glove Palm: 80% Polyester, 20% Polyurethane
    • Grip: Silicone
    • Fingers and Thumb: Elastic
    • Thumb and Trim: 80% Nylon, 20% Elastane
    • Wrist Closure: Velcro, Bonded Nylon, Elastane

Care instructions can be found on the label: Machine wash cold water, lay flat to dry.

Velcro wrist straps should always be closed/secured when gloves are not in use or being washed to prevent warping, bending, and/or collection of debris.

When machine washing the gloves, we recommend putting them in a delicates bag to further extend their longevity.

Blisters

I don’t suffer from blisters when rowing, but my hands do perspire. I bought the gloves to improve my grip. While the gloves did provide grip, they also caused blisters like I don’t recall ever having experienced. Maybe the gloves are ever so slightly too large; they do bunch in the palm but only a little. I fear my fingers would be squeezed too much going down a size, and I’m not especially fond of how constrictive the finger loops are no matter how much they’re stretched.

Great for blister reduction

I got these as to help re-callous after many years away from rowing. Just enough grip to help but not interfere with feathering and squaring. They are well designed and fit true to size.

Work great for sculling

I bought these to see if they could help mitigate stiffness and tendinitis in my hands…sort of an exoskeleton to take a bit of tension out of my hands while sculling. Despite having a very light grip—I have sculled for years—I have developed a trigger finger predisposition. I do think they have helped and do not interfere with oar control. I don’t wear them for blisters, callouses, or sweaty hands, but they are great for those problems as well. I wear size small which barely fit my hand.

Perfect!

These gloves work frat, I’m so happy I got them. Use the measurements for sizing. I was on the line between sizes and went up one size as recommended due to having thicker fingers. The gloves fit great!

Good to have

I row in Fl where it is hot and sweaty! These gloves really helped to keep my grip on oars when my hands were slipping.

So good I bought 3 more pairs!

I use these for when I work out on the rowers at Orangetheory, they work perfectly and even work as lifting gloves as well. I used my first pair for over 100 Orangetheory classes for both rowing and lifting before I had to get a new pair, the quality is amazing!

Comfortable but still got blisters on thumbs

I ordered these gloves because I was trying rowing for the first time and wanted to be sure my hands wouldn't get torn up. They were incredibly comfortable, and did largely protect my hands, but I still got blisters on the inside of each of my thumbs which was not covered by the gloves. These were not cheap, and I was disappointed that they didn't protect this area of my hands.

No more ripped up hands!

Helpful for me as I transition out of the beginner stages - stopped me from damaging my hands as much while I worked on grip. Thanks!

Great for Gig Rowing!

I’ve tried several different types of gloves as a gig rower, the scullers are best by far. No more blisters and a really great grip for the wooden oar! Highly recommend!

Good protection

My son’s hands were so ripped up from training this summer, the gloves let him heal without taking a break and are keeping him blister free! We sized up because he was right at the edge between sizes - the finger elastics were tight for longer than we had expected, but overall still extremely happy.
